“ Great place and team. Always friendly. Busy all day - get there early. ”
“ I received a wonderful haircut from Pam. The ladies in the shop are very easy to be around and chat with. Pam listed to what I wanted, gave me some ideas and thoughtful options and delivered a flawless cut. I couldn't be happier with this place. Their rates are the best I've ever seen - to be completely honest had I known how cheap they were I probably wouldn't have stopped in (I believe you get what you pay for) but boy was I humbled by that. I would have missed out on finding this gem. As a side note they're a cash only business so be prepared for that. ”
“ Been going here for years. Love this place. ”

“ I have cut my own hair for years. My wife found this place for our 2 boys. They do great with everyone! I now go hear every 3-4 weeks to get my hair cut. Girls are amazing and always smiling and laughing. Great environment, happy staff, and inexpensive, IM SOLD! ”
“ I am old and turning gray and my aging heart is as cantankerous as a cat in an ice bucket. I am set in my ways and I want reliability and quality over new or modern. In life this is particularly true with haircuts. If I think about it, I have probably had many hundreds of haircuts over the years, some of them were good and some not so much, but it is a never ending cycle. A habit you start when you are young and rides you the rest of your life. It is a universal, an archetype of craft that stretches back far into our clouded history. Hair cutting is as old as the first sharpened tool and I want it reliable. Usually I go to one person, as intimate and personal as a favorite pair of pants. A relationship built up over time until your barber knows you as well as your own wife. I was hesitant to throw myself into chaos, into the vulnerability of the new. Northside Barber Shop was uncharted waters. It is not a dark quiet place, full of tradition and the banter of men. It’s more... alive. There is gossip and laughter and relationships that bounce back and forth with all the polish of a good show. My aging bones felt a touch out of place, but the ladies put me at my ease in moments. They made me feel welcome and respected. They were... dare I say it, a lot of fun. I don’t know, is this possible? Fun in a barbershop? Perhaps I view this with a little suspicion. The proof of the puddin, is as they say, in the eat’n. It all comes down to whether you recognize yourself when it’s finally done. I fumble for my glasses, I peer cautiously into the mirror, drums roll, and I let out a sigh of relief. I look like myself again. I recognize the essential character in my own movie. There is a magic when someone you don’t know can do that for you. Not to mention, make it a good experience. The waiting room was pretty chilly, but the buzz of the shop balanced that out. Maybe it’s not so bad for an old man to bask in the attention of pretty young woman for a few moments, particularly when he knows the wife will like the outcome. Maybe it’s time to venture out into new lands and let the pace pick up a bit. So yes, it was a good haircut done by someone skilled in the craft and practiced in the fine art of human relations. This, as in the hallowed pantheon of barbershops across time can be a crux, a static place in the turning world. You know, one of those places that bring people together instead of ripping them apart. A place as much community as business. ”
“ My hands-down favorite barbershop! I have been going here since my first haircut when I was three years old! They have the nicest and funniest barbers in town... and they know how to cut hair and will leave you feeling and looking good every time! ”
